⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Being so far away from home during a time of grief is one of the hardest feelings to describe. I’m born and raised in Gqeberha, and after receiving devastating news and things moving so fast, I realized I haven’t sent flowers to sympathise. With our church in Salsoneville and the flower order being placed so late from the U.S., I honestly didn’t petals would pull it off. (I’ve had some bad experiences with other local or national florists.) Then Petals stepped in. When payment issues with my bank caused problems, Ayanda and David personally reached out to make sure I still wanted to proceed. They sent a secure payment link, kept me updated every step of the way, asked thoughtful questions when substitutions were needed, and even began preparing the arrangement before everything had been finalized. Given circumstances, they took all the stress off my shoulders. The flowers were beautiful—elegant, understated, and a perfect expression of my families love to the son of the deceased. But what truly sets Petals apart is their compassion. After the flowers were delivered and the funeral had taken place, they even reached out to me offer their condolences to our family. At the saddest time they brought a little light into the darkness. My mum has trusted Petals for years and has always spoken so highly of them. Now I know exactly why.
